First nationals showing in the books!

I feel so privileged that I was apart of this years PSA Nationals and that Rebel and I were able to come out and show along side so many great competitors.

I have such an amazing support system and was so thankful to have a lot of my team out to support me. Special thanks to for surprising me at nationals it was so cool having you here.

I want to thank my B2BK9 team .kiyarash and that held down the fort while I’ve been away. The fact I can leave worry free is such a rare thing and I’m so fortunate to have the team I have. I owe you a special thanks for always jumping in the suit to help me iron out things. I was so glad you could share this experience with me.

To all of my decoys.. This wouldn’t be possible with out you. I’m so thankful for you.

thank you for this damn dog. I’m thankful to you for her and to be there to always talk me off a ledge with training.
and.malinois this journey has just started with us but already you help me in ways I would have never expected. Thank you for not only being the one to get in the suit, but being there to point out me and my dogs weaknesses and to help me fix them. God knows I need someone like you and I will forever be grateful.

And that’s a wrap! Gold school #1 was a total success.

It was a pleasure teaching along side with one of the greats. Thank you for making the trip out and putting on this school with me.

Still coming off this high from last weekend’s west coast regional PSA event. Rebel and I showed in the 1s and ended up coming home with all the hardware closing out our 1s with a obedience score of 94.5, protection score of 199 totaling 293.5.
state.psa you guys put on such an amazing event and I thank you for that. It was a really cool experience trialing under judge Janet Edward’s thank you for the fair judging and crazy upper level scenarios.

I’m so thankful to have this dog and to be where we are today. She has been a really fun dog to bring up in this sport and I cannot wait to see what lessons she’ll teach me trying for the upper levels. We’ve got serious work to do.

To my friend thank you for giving me this dog 3 years ago. We both had no clue what her future held. Thank you for always having my back and talking me off a ledge when things are going haywire.

To my B2BK9 family .kiyarash and i owe so much to you guys. Thank you all for being the people you are and keeping things running smooth while I’m away. You don’t know how much it means to me having a team that I can trust and that cares about this company just as much as I do.

Rebel and I went for our first leg of our psa 1 title and got it with a total score of 295!

Our obedience was on fire and ended with a score of 95.5 and earned highest ob in trial.

We had a mishap in the damn carjacking scenario which really hurt us but still ended protection with a 199.5.

I want to thank all the decoys that came out and let our dogs tear them up a bit. You guys are so awesome! .and.malinois .jo11

always puts on a professional trial and we appreciate you for that! Things seem to always run smooth.

And of course I wouldn’t be where I am without my amazing team ! It takes a fu***ng village and I’m so proud to call you all my teammates. Special thanks to for always being the voice in my head keeping me solid and making sure I don’t get any crazy ideas. Thank you for that same help just in your own way. Thank you for jumping in the suit during work so I can work through things the seating decoy was all you girl. And everyone else that is there to support and help out

Anyone that knows me knows when I get stuck on an idea it doesn’t take long for me to run with it and take a leap of faith into a new adventure or dream. I took one of the biggest leaps over 3 years ago when I signed the lease to the Los Gatos location where B2BK9 currently is ran. I was a one man shop at the time and figured everything would fall into place exactly how it is suppose to.

At that time Chelsea was a personal coach and wound up with her first Malinois, Jet boy. She was a little lost and needed some guidance; I was more then happy to start doing lessons with her. Pretty quickly into lessons I saw Chelsea had huge potential in the dog world. It wasn’t long after working together I offered her a kennel tech position. She quickly moved from kennel tech to trainer and in no time at all, it felt like we were partners in this game, hustling, getting s**t done, and making moves.
ryan it has been an honor opening your doors to the dog world. It has been such a fulfilling experience watching you grow not only in the dogs but you as a person. It’s funny how dogs teach us about ourselves and it was really cool watching them teach you like they have done for me. You continuously make me so proud to have you on my team. I was so happy when you took on butcher and continued his training. You have nurtured an absolute monster out of him. You are one of a kind and I can’t thank you enough for your loyalty and trust in me to build you up. Thank you for being such a huge piece to what Back to Balance is today.

Now it’s your turn to take a leap into a new journey. Can’t blame you one bit for following your heart and just going for it, not looking back. I’m heartbroken to see you go but only want the best for you and truly will be rooting for you now just a bit more on the sidelines. Know you always have a home here! Make me proud as I know you will!

This boy is way over due for his proper introduction!

Me and are super excited to co-own this monster of a lab. He’s been a really cool introduction to my pack and working dog program. This guy came to us from a trainer that put an amazing foundation on him and I plan to use those prior skills and continue his hunting dog training, create some rock solid obedience, and have him for our detection/breeding program. Definitely going to be a dog that’s a jack of all trades.

I’m excited to jump into some new territories of dog training and he’s the perfect dog to do it with.

Meet Zion!

Zion was the pick puppy from the Koa x Rebel litter I currently whelped. I’m excited to be able to raise this puppy and bring you all along on the entire raising process on my Patreon.
The end goal for this dog is to be a Spectrum K9 police dog but will also get him Pdc ready and hopefully compete with him before he goes to a department.
First huge step the raising a police dog is having the right dog for the job. This entire litter has shown a lot of promise and their gentics already shine through. My goal is to show how a nurture these genetics to their highest potential.
