Our beans to make our Cafe de Olla is exclusively sourced from Chiapas 🇲🇽 through , an important cooperative that directly supports the women producers of Bella Vista. Recently, Rosalba and her daughter visited us to share the important work they continue to do, and we couldn’t be prouder to partner with them and excited about growing our partnership 🫘🌽.
A big shoutout to Ana 🤍 for roasting our beans and hand delivering them to us each week from SF (please visit her lovely cafe if you are ever in the Mission area). Our kitchen team takes special care in preparing our ☕️Cafe de Olla every morning, using traditional methods of cooking freshly ground coffee with spices and aromatics like canela, piloncillo, and 🍊citrus. We hope you taste the loving hands 🤲 with every cup.☕🥰

The perfect Classic Margarita
Ingredients:
* 2 ounces of premium blanco tequila
* 1 ounce organic agave
* 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
-Prepare a rocks glass with a salted rim
-Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker
-Add ice and shake passionately
-Strain over ice
-Garnish with a lime wheel

Our #1 core value at LUNA Mexican Kitchen is "Family First," which means we always take care of each other.💞 Two years ago, at the beginning of the pandemic, we launched our Pay-it-Forward program where we offered FREE "Family First" meals to anyone in need.🍽️ We fed youth in homeless shelters, healthcare workers, our elderly neighbors, hospitality workers who were out of work and families who could use an extra hand.

Thank you for your generous support of this program.🙏 After 2 years we have provided a total of 1,107 free meals, with 634 of these meals donated directly by all of you, our extended family.🥳 We are so very proud to have done this with you and though this specific program has come to an end, stay tuned as we will soon start a new Family First program, partnering with non-profits serving the most vulnerable in our communities. We never forget that we all live, love and feast under the same moon.🌙 As much as we are different, we are more of the same.❤️

We started our journey in 2014 and opened this blue door in May of 2017. It took over two years to renovate our little 1950s building on The Alameda in the Rosegarden neighborhood. We had no idea what was in store; all we knew was we wanted to create a space where our guests would feel at home and serve food made with love and intention. From the moment we opened, we have felt love from our community, and many of you have become a part of our LUNA family ❤️. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special memories.
