Yesterday our Ministry for Social Justice, Peace, and Creation Care staff and placement students had the honour of meeting Sr Norma Pimentel of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley along with colleagues from the Mary Ward Centre and University of St. Michael's College Campus Ministry. They talked of migration, refugees, migrant workers, and migrant detention in both the US and Canada. Catholic values of solidarity and the dignity of the person were front and centre as they shared stories, ideas, and inspiration.

These wonderful individuals are recognized for their dedication to helping others and following the example of our founder, Venerable Nelson Baker.
