Dance Therapy

so versatility was a requirement. I loved dancing Lyrical, Hip Hop, Jazz, Broadway, and Latin all in the same concert. Diversity kept shows interesting for audience as well as performer. Variety of movement challenged mind and body. I decided to create a class reminiscent of my gigs. I stayed in shape without feeling like I was working at it! My goals for Dance Therapy:
--offer a variety of dance styles with inspiring music
--create choreography that's simple to learn, fun to dance, & entertaining
--help students (1) tone muscles, (2) increase core strength, flexibility, & stamina, & (3) improve memory & musicality

Class may be a cardio workout or an easy groove...the choice is yours. The best way to understand a class is to try it! Everyone has their own goals. Some students tell me their bodies feel stronger. Others tell me they've made unexpected, rewarding accomplishments in their dancing. Some even pick up disciplines of dance, fitness, or sports more quickly now.
