🌐✨ This Human Rights Day, we honor the power of unity and stand as advocates for the rights of every individual, especially within the deaf community. Today we highlight the remarkable Dr. Liisa Kauppinen and the World Federation of the Deaf, whose tireless work ensures that the voices of the deaf community are not only heard but valued.

May is National Teen Self-Esteem Month and it's a great opportunity to make an extra effort to support and nurture the teens in our lives and foster an environment that offers teens a safe place to explore, and express. If you have a teen in your life or are a teen take moment to check in and allow space. Remember you are enough.

1) Breathe in for four seconds
2) Hold your breath for seven seconds
3) Release the breath as you slowly count to eight

DCCS is hosting a round table discussion about Domestic violence for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event will also have guests who have personally experienced DV to tell their stories and provide proactive tips on how you can support a victim or survivor of DV.
