Lovely Lilah has been many colors under the sun. She was ready for a natural looking ashy blonde. I lightened with Blondor, then filled & toned with Color Touch. I used equal parts 7/0, 8/0 & 8/81. Full disclosure, this was easier than anticipated & RARELY is. It will fade & we will re access, but she loved it & wanted to stop here. You don’t know what you’re working with until you get into the Hair. Sometimes you nail it out of the gate & others you analyze, deliberate, execute & try again. I am always learning. We may make this look simple, but it’s science, art & magic. That’s what’s kept me going this long.

This lovely lady came as a multi leveled brunette/blonde and left as a smashing cendre’ bombshell. As we head to platinum we enjoy the shades in between. I booked 4 hours and it took about 4.5. She had to get back to work, so we couldn't style and document as I would have liked. None the less, Transformation accomplished! Let’s geek out now.... I bleached her out twice (plus B3, a bond protector), concentrating on the stubborn band first, ends next and hitting the new growth last. I then toned with Wella’s Illumina: 3pts 8/1, 1 pt 6/16, 1 pt 9/60 with 10V. I carefully watching and babooned her hair for 15 minutes or so. Sometimes I am amazed I make my living creating, formulating & painting. Life is good.
