Happy International Women's Day! Did you know we are officially recognized as a WOMEN-OWNED business? Our founder Laura Porter opened this storefront nearly 2 years ago and has been an influential leader for sustainability in the San Mateo Country area.

THIS! How frustrating to refill a peanut butter jar, only to have to pay double because they don’t know how to adjust tare weights.

We get asked every week if customers need to buy containers from us to be able to refill. Nope! You are encouraged to bring your own from home and refill - it’s the ultimate waste saver and budget saver. We DO offer community jars which are sanitized, but we charge 50¢ each for the sanitizing process… because it’s easy to forget a container on a big grocery trip. Come see what it’s all about, and bring that empty container you want to fill up.
