Your heart is THE ORGAN to keep oxygen flowing, bringing life to all parts of the body.
Decreased oxygen utilization happens with aging or when the body is out of balance.
I now offer cutting-edge ozone treatments!
OZONE THERAPY is a safe and effective way to increase oxygen delivery to your organs which means the body can return to balance, deal with infections, inflammation, pain and chronic disease a lot easier.
Ozone ALSO activates anti-aging pathways and provides an edge in athletic performance.
Many patients report improved energy, cognitive function, and immune function.
If you're ready to experience these amazing treatments go to my website - (in the bio) to learn more OR call the office to get on the waiting list!
Edgewood park is one of the places I go to connect with nature. It's easy to get to and there is a huge diversity of plants and wildflowers.
You can walk in the field space or be in the woods, and the views are great.
Remember - nature is so healing. I was recently sick and appreciated the view I had looking out on nature watching the birds, the wind, the rain, and the plants living their lives. It was calming and healing all at once.
Make sure to connect with nature at least once a week - the more the better for your nervous system, immune system, and mental health.
It's almost here!
I will be offering 10-pass ozone and ozone dialysis in my office.
Contact the office to be put on the wait-list.
Visit my website - listed on the image - to learn more about these amazing therapies.
Spring is here!
What does that mean for your health?
It's a great time to re-invest in your health.
Are you ready to REALLY go for TRUE HEALTH, are you ready to INVEST in yourself, are you ready to make the COMMITMENT to YOU?
Yes?!
YIPEE! Give my office a call (website in bio).
I love working with people just like you.
One thing to know about me - I will keep working with you to help you achieve your health goals as long as it takes. There are so many options to try - I'm in it for the long haul.
How long has it been since you've been to the beach? Or out on a walk?
Is your health preventing you from enjoying the things that you love to do?
Ozone therapy might be the solution!
Ozone therapy is so effective because it provides high doses of oxygen for the cells to use. This results in improved energy production, improved blood circulation, modulation of the immune system and inflammation, and supports the anti-aging process. Ozone also works to inactivate viruses and bacteria.
I will be adding the Zotzmann ozone machine that can give both the 10 pass ozone treatment and EBOO (also known as RPR or ozone dialysis). These methods deliver very high doses of ozone.
If you want to learn more about ozone therapy or are ready to experience it, give the office a call to get on the waitlist for these effective treatments. See the link to website in bio.
How does Earth Day relate to your health?
What you do at home to help your health has a direct effect on Gaia. Here are some ideas that support your health and Gaia's.π
1. Shop the farmers market where you'll find organically grown, sustainably raised products. π₯¦π₯ππ
2. Decrease or eliminate the purchase of products packaged in plastic. (This is probably one of the most challenging on this list!)
3. Re-use and re-purpose as many things as you can.
Check out Green Citizen in Burlingame or search for one in your local area - they recycle all forms of styrofoam as well as electronics, electric housewares, CDs, and more.
4. Compost food scraps or start an earthworm bin - these are fun ways to engage your children or yourself. The earthworms can then be transferred to your garden.
5. Plant a garden. π»
6. Make every day Earth Day! π

Poison Oak - It's in full bloom now. If you love getting out in nature then poison oak pretty much goes along with hiking and camping. But don't let this deter you from being in nature. Knowing what poison oak looks like and taking some precautions can ensure that you enjoy nature in its full bloom.
I have a long history with poison oak, I'm pretty sensitive to it so I've learned different things to do to help treat it. (These treatments can work for poison ivy too.)
Use Tecnu - it works!
Take a shower with soap when you get home from hiking. This disrupts the oils.
Take the homeopathic Rhus Tox 6c or 12c before and after going out.
If you do get the rash the herbal tincture Grindelia helps the rash resolve and dry up faster. This mixed with calamine lotion can ease the itching.
Ozone is a wonderful treatment to add to your life!
Why?
Ozone improves oxygen usage and metabolism in the body.
This generally makes you feel better because itβs increasing and improving the bodyβs production of energy in the mitochondria, the energy factories of the cell.
More energy means you feel better and your body works better.

EARTHING!
So easy to do and so helpful for your body and wellbeing.
I recently went over to Half Moon Bay beach and immediately took my shoes and socks off to get my toes and feet on the earth and in the ocean. It felt wonderful and I was so glad I did it. The stresses just fell away.
The earth has this amazing ability to bring in negative ions that help the body heal, decrease pain, and shift moods.
Research has been done showing the physical benefit of earthing to the body.
So get out there, get your feet and body on the earth and see how you feel.
Ozone!
Last month I had the honor and pleasure to study with Dr. Robert Rowen - a true pioneer and expert in ozone therapy. In fact, I'd say he is one of the Godfathers of ozone.
Taking the training reaffirmed my excitement and trust in the power of oxidative therapies - especially ozone.
One of the big take-aways is that ozone has been very effective at treating viruses - even the current one!
Ozone is used in many ways from sinus, auricular or re**al insufflation to ozonating the blood, and injecting into the joints or painful areas. Each has benefits and specific outcomes.
Some of the effects are:
Increased energy
Decreased pain and inflammation
Improved mental clarity
Generally feeling better
Ozone improves oxygen usage and metabolism in the body. This generally makes you feel better because itβs increasing and improving the bodyβs production of energy in the mitochondria, the energy factories of the cell. More energy means you feel better and your body works better.
Ozone decreases inflammation which in turn decreases pain. This is great for practically any muscle or joint issue.
Ozone calms the immune system down which decreases inflammation. This is beneficial for autoimmune conditions, cancer, lyme disease, and infectious diseases (viruses, bacterial, fungal).
Ozone improves brain function by improving the bodyβs usage of oxygen. With more oxygen to the brain you can think a lot better!
Ozone therapy mediates oxidative stress, a major cause of aging. So ozone is an anti-aging treatment. It also plays a role in physical recovery and performance. Many professional athletes use ozone therapy as part of their training and recovery program.
Ozone treatments in my clinic:
I offer prolozone therapy for muscle and joint injections, major autohemotherapy (ozonating a portion of your blood) and insufflations β sinus, ears, vaginal, and intestinal.
All of these treatments have wonderful effects and are supportive of the body in different ways. Depending on what is going on with you we decide the best treatment plan for your health.
OZONE SAFETY
The safety record for ozone is safer than aspirin. Extensive research has been done in Cuba and Europe with many studies and protocols. You cannot inhale ozone due to the lungβs lack of antioxidant defenses, although you can safely breathe ozone gas that is bubbled through olive oil.
If you have more questions about ozone therapy or want to schedule your ozone treatments drop me a line or give the office a call. We are happy to answer your questions.

Today is 02/22/22! β¨
I love numbers, the repetition can have significance. Seeing the repetition of numbers can signify your angels are nearby, it can be a vibrational attunement or a tool for alignment. For example, 11:11 is a reminder that we are all connected.
All of the 2's are pointing to relationships: cooperation, collaboration, community, conciliation, and communication.
In addition to all of the 2's today the United States is having its astrological Pluto return. This is significant because as humans we don't ever experience a Pluto return because it takes 248 (think Saturn return every 27ish years). This is a unique opportunity for humanity to experience Pluto.
The Pluto return for the United States is bringing back the reminder of the original intention of the USA - a Declaration of Independence as sovereign states from England.
The combination of the 2's and the Pluto return are providing a wonderful energetic opportunity both personally and collectively.
To see how this relates to you consider doing your own personal astrological chart or numerology. Consider how these themes are playing out in your life right now, in your health. Where are you collaborating or cooperating. Are you working with yourself or against yourself.
Today use the energies of the 2's to set an intention for collaboration, cooperation, community.
special thanks to and for the inspiration and information on the astrology and numerology. β€οΈ
Over Christmas I was able to get away to the hot springs for some real down time. No wifi, telephone, television, traffic. It was so nice to be away.
I was excited to wake up one morning to this winterscape. It was extra fun soaking in the hot water with the snow falling.
As we are well into the new year I encourage you to take some time to disconnect on a regular basis. It helps you to reset, get back to your center, and clear the mind.
Your health is not just about the body, nourishing your soul can do wonders. I know it does for me.
I found this statue of Ganesha on the beach in Santa Cruz. I was so excited to find it.
Ganesha is the remover of obstacles.
When I got home I wanted to rinse off the statue and as I was it started falling apart. It was literally dissolving in my hands and take the obstacles with it.
May this new year find the obstacles in your life dissolving leaving a clear path to health and healing.
Happy New Year!
The San Andreas fault is right out my backdoor. It abounds with beauty, wildlife, water, and mountains. β

For a healing experience I highly suggest getting out in nature. β It's a wonderful way to decompress, boost your spirits, breathe fresh air, move your body, and get an infusion of the nature devas healing powers. β

While you're out there take your shoes off and connect skin to skin with Mother Earth. She can calm your nervous system, take away pain, and get the healing process going!β

Getting outside is on every one of my treatment plans. Now you know why. β

Let me know where you like to go when you get outside.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. ππβ
Joy, joy, joy. There's nothing that brings more joy than puppies, kittens, and babies.
This little love is Peanut! No, she isn't my puppy but I'm her auntie π₯°. Just spending time with her and her sister Vesper brings such joy.
I hope that you find joy this holiday no matter where you are or who you're with.
Wishing you peace, joy, and health during this holiday season and into the new year.πβ€οΈ
Today, December 21st, is the Winter solstice in the Northern hemisphere.
The solstice is the time of year that time stops for a few days as the earth is at its most extreme tilt. For use in the United States it is the shortest day of the year or the longest night.
This time of year provides the opportunity to reflect on the past year. It can also be a time to let go of the past as we move into the light. Letting go of the things that aren't serving you; beliefs, behaviors, things, and health issues.
Take time today and reflect on your year. Let me know what you're letting go. I'd love to hear.π
Gingko - a wonderful herb and one of my favorite trees. In fact the gingko tree is the oldest living species of tree in the world dating back at least 250 million years!
The leaves have a beautiful shape that looks similar to a brain - which is where the gingko's action is. Gingko increases blood flow to the brain and improve impaired memory and mental performance, especially in the elderly.
Gingko generally helps circulation so it can be used for any disorder that could use improved circulation - stroke prevention, migraines, delaying Alzheimer's, eye disorders like macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and other things like Raynaud's syndrome, varicose veins and it could even help decrease asthma symptoms.
Gingko is relatively safe however, if you are on a blood thinner or have a bleeding disorder you should definitely check with your naturopathic doctor to make sure it's right for you.
The rain has come, the temperature has dropped, it's time to cozy up and take some down time. Sure, we're in the holiday season and taking time for yourself is more important than ever.
Relaxing while listening to the rain coming down, focusing on your breath, getting present, finding things you have gratitude for. This can soothe your mind, heart, and body.
Having gratitude for the small things heals your body in ways that no supplement, herb, or medicine can. Take some down time this holiday season and feel the magic.ππ§οΈβ€οΈ

Dr. Laura's Top 5 Tips for a Healthy Fall
1. Wear the right gear. In the Bay area we are used to having temperature changes just from going from the coast to inland. Carrying a scarf, jacket and hat with you will help protect your Wei Qi - external qi.
2. Make sure your vitamin D level is sufficient. We've heard a lot about vitamin D over the last year plus, and for good reason. Vitamin D plays a major roll in your immune system along with other functions.
I like to see a blood level of vitamin D 25-OH between 50-80 ng/ml.
3. Take your vitamin C! Yes, it is a wonderful vitamin and one that gets used up quickly when you're sick. Our body doesn't make vitamin C so you do have to get it through supplementation and diet. During illness it works alongside with glutathione ( #1 antioxidant) and the tocopherols (vitamin E) to help prevent cytokine storms. If you are low in vitamin C you are more likely to have a cytokine storm (major inflammation). If vitamin C is not replenished this can be fatal.
4. Exercise! Any type of movement is good, walking, jump rope, pilates, swimming, dancing, playing with kids, running around the yard, hiking, gardening, rebounding. It's all good for you and your immune system. Studies show that exercise increases the immune cells like white blood cells and anti-inflammatory molecules.
5. Take care of your mental health. Yes, it's true that the mind plays a significant part in our health. The more fear, anxiety, stress, worry, fear (yep I repeated that) the weaker your immune system.
Turn off the news, media, etc. Take a break for a week and see how you feel. Do you feel calmer, more at ease, less stressed? There are studies that show your mindset can make you sick or healthy. Which do you prefer?
Use the time that you would normally read or watch the news and read something inspiring, take a walk in the neighborhood, connect with your friends or family, or get back into a hobby or craft that you enjoy. Do something that lifts your spirits. It will take some effort at first and you may not notice a difference immediately, in fact you might have with drawl symptoms ;) BUT stick with it. This WILL make a POSITIVE difference in you health and well-being.
What do dahlias have to do with ozone? Nothing specifically but they sure are beautiful! β

OZONE TREATMENTS OFFERED IN MY OFFICE:β

Ozonated water - an easy way to get ozone in and supportive of the digestive tract.β
β
Ozone skin treatments - this is good for abscesses, skin wounds that aren't healing, and most other unknown skin issues.β

Sinus treatments - in this case the ozone gas is bubbled through olive oil where it is converted to a gas that can be inhaled. I use a nasal cannula so that is easy to inhale.β
β
Auricular ozone - this is beneficial for the ears and there is also thought that the ozone can get to the brain through the ear canals.β
β
Intestinal ozone - supportive for the entire body but also specifically liver, lower digestive tract. Great to do if you can't do IV ozone.β
β
Prolozone - injecting ozone to places of pain - muscles and joints. Incredible healing power - 85% effective. I've seen amazing results.β
β
Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) - IV ozone where your blood is collected in a sterile bag, ozone is added, your blood is oxygenated and the blood is returned to you.
Halloween has been one of my favorite times of year because of all the costumes and dressing up.
It is also time of year with a lot of sugar, candies and sweets. Take the time to get a game plan in place so you don't end up eating all of the treats for the trick-or-treaters.
For you -
Have fruit around to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Eat plenty of protein to keep your blood sugar in balance.
Hand out non-candy treats like halloween tattoos, bubbles, stickers, etc
If you're going to have something sweet get organic non-gmo treats
For your kids -
Let your kids go trick-or-treating - this is a fond memory of mine - and then trade out the candy for money, a fun experience, or something special that means a lot to them.
Ozone is a powerful healing tool. It's one of my favorite therapies that I use in my practice.

Mushrooms! Many have amazing healing properties. They stimulate the immune system, support brain function, support energy and stamina, destress, and more. They are magical.
This mushroom looks like a chicken of the woods - an edible mushroom however I think it's a velvet top fungus not edible. It was growing on the ground but it was REALLY big! A very cool thing to find out on a hike.
As we are moving into fall I like to have my favorite mushroom immune formula in my medicine cabinet as both a preventative and a treatment. I really like Host Defense's Mycommunity - it's a packed full of mushrooms and effective! I also like Foursigmatic's mushroom teas - there are a variety to choose from. They're and easy way to have mushroom's daily.
(no affiliation with either of these companies, I just love their products)
