The development of standards are meant to support the needs of the market and facilitate its technological advancements. At ONVIF, that continues to be our mission, and was again the main focus of meetings at our ONVIF All Committee gathering last week in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Topics included ongoing discussions on standardizing cloud connectivity, interoperability for audio devices and clients, health monitoring, and metadata, all of which will continue to be the subjects of ONVIF committees and working groups throughout the rest of this year.
With such significant topics under discussion, it’s an exciting time to be involved in ONVIF! This means having a seat at the table to define and guide the future uses of these most impactful technologies.
Special thanks to our members who provided their time, expertise and collaboration skills during our meetings.
