Meet Nugget 🐶

Nugget was getting a bath when his leg got caught in the bathtub drain. With the help from VEG vet in San Ramon, Nugget was sedated and his leg was safely removed from the drain. 🐶 🚒 🛀

Thank you for having us at your National Night Out parties! We had a great time with Danville Police Department and San Ramon Police Department at 42 different parties.

Firefighter Glancy and Battalion Chief Falkenstrom played along side the Sacramento Fire Pipes and Drums during the memorial service of Fallen Oakland Firefighter Caeden Laffan.

Today we mourn with our brothers and sisters of The celebration of life for Firefighter Caeden Laffan was held today on the USS Hornet.

Vehicle Fire - Southbound 680 @ Sycamore.

Firefighters quickly extinguished a vehicle fire this afternoon. No injuries reported.

On Friday morning a citizen noticed a kitten on the side of the freeway and stopped to rescue it. While driving the cat to the vet, the kitten managed to get itself wedged under her dashboard near the brake pedal so the driver pulled over. Engine 39 attempted to free it, but the kittens back leg was twisted around the internal brake mechanism and was completely stuck. A mobile vet was called to sedate the kitten and a mobile mechanic also responded to assist in the extrication. The soon to be named kitten was finally extricated and taken to the vet for an evaluation and will be adopted by the citizen. 🐱🚒
