The Sandpoint Teen Center is having a Fundraising dinner. We are the only place in town where middle school through high school students have a place to go after school to socialize, engage in activities, do homework all in a safe, and fun environment. We provide the opportunity to engage in activities that are not only fun and enjoyable, but also beneficial to both the short term and long term demands these teens will face moving forward. Here at STC, teens learn the value of teens work, leadership, responsibility, accountability and confidence.

We are a non profit organization dedicated to helping teens develop the skills and qualities of tomorrow’s leaders. As a non profit, we rely on donations and grants to stay open. We are having a fundraising dinner to raise fund for Summer Activities and operating costs for next year. If you can’t join us, please think about donating via the link below.

Here are some simple tips to prepare your home and property for the Spring and Summer months. ☺️

1. Spring Cleaning: Start by decluttering and deep cleaning your home, including areas that may have been neglected during the winter months. This could involve dusting, vacuuming, washing windows, and organizing closets to create a fresh and inviting space.
2. Inspect and Maintain Exterior: Check your home’s exterior for any damage caused by winter weather, such as roof leaks, cracked siding, or damaged gutters. Repairing these issues early can prevent further damage during spring rains. Also, consider pressure washing decks, patios, and siding to remove built-up grime.
3. Landscaping: Trim overgrown bushes and trees, rake up leftover leaves and debris, and freshen up flower beds with new mulch or plants. Consider planting native species that thrive in North Idaho’s climate to attract pollinators and enhance curb appeal.
4. Prepare Outdoor Spaces: Get your outdoor living areas ready for spring by cleaning and arranging patio furniture, checking outdoor lighting, and inspecting your grill or outdoor kitchen for any needed maintenance. Consider adding pops of color with outdoor pillows, rugs, or potted plants to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Dish at Dover Bay did not disappoint this evening! The food and service were great! Got a cozy table next to the fireplace overlooking the igloos and water. ☺️
