Very late posting......We had Dave with Ascension Group NW and WesSpur Tree Equipment out again for another Aerial Rescue Training in October. It is good to stay up to date and practiced in the unlikely event someone needs rescued from a tree.

We’re receiving reports of heavy civilian traffic on Riverview Drive. Some of the vehicles are driving too fast!

Since we’re still actively suppressing the fire in the area, portions of W. Riverview Drive are limited to one lane. If you must drive on Riverview, be careful! Fire equipment using the road moves slowly, stops frequently and may block the road!

Please limit the use of Riverview Drive to local traffic only.

Even Arborists have tree problems during storms. A large cottonwood fell across our road during last night's storm and did a little damage to some of the adjacent trees. Nothing like a little work before work to start the day. Who needs coffee? Hahaha!

Gorgeous views from the top of a Douglas fir yesterday.

We hosted an Aerial Rescue Training taught by David Stice and Jose Villa of Ascension Group NW and WesSpur Tree. We invited Sand Creek Tree Service and Ooh La La Arboriculture. It was a fantastic day with awesome humans learning a valuable skill. Such a great experience to train with fellow arborists.

We are off today in remembrance of those that lost their lives fighting for our country. Picture taken by me, Sarah.

Shawn and I worked a couple of jobs today. The first a takedown of a dead lodgepole (Check the comments for video of Shawn stacking the top for me) and the second was an emergency add-on of an aspen leaning on a shed. The aspen had been mostly broken through at the base, with only one root still intact. Our client had attached a come-a-long to it to keep the weight mostly off his shed. We triangulated the tree and rigged it down.
