Serving Our Seniors is a private, nonprofit, geriatric social service agency. Judge Lucal, Ray and Marian Koch then co-founded Serving Our Seniors.
The organization is funded through the Erie County Senior Services tax levy, volunteers and donations. Judge Jane Lucal championed the formation of Serving Our Seniors and in 1996 a levy was passed in Erie County to fund the agency.

Did you know Serving Our Seniors has a HANDYMAN PROGRAM?
If you are age 60 or older, live in Erie County and have a small repair, but don’t know who to call for fear of being ripped off, you can call Serving Our Seniors 419-624-1856.
Serving Our Seniors has a contract with Father & Son Do-It-All-Services, to make small repairs your home. If money is tight and you can’t afford a repair bill, Serving Our Seniors can help you pay the portion of the bill that you cannot afford. We call this “sharing the cost.”
(NOTE: We do not make repairs to the homes owned by a landlord. The landlord is responsible for keeping the tenant’s home/apartment in good repair.)
Serving Our Seniors is aware of someone who has a hospital bed and a free standing “walk-in” tub, to donate.
Call Serving Our Seniors 419-624-1856 and speak with Brenda for more information.
Are you an Erie Co. resident, age 60 years or better and looking for dental care?
Serving Our Seniors and the Erie County Community Health Center are working together to help older adults who need dental care, but can’t afford the cost per visit.
Call Serving Our Seniors and let us see how we can help you. 419-624-1856.
Senior Self Defense Class Offered!

CORRECTION: The forum for professionals, “Mandated Reporters and Elder Abuse: How Do I Know When To Report?” is on June 25th not July 25th as advertised in the Sanusky Register.
