The Public Works Department continues its annual leaf collection. As a reminder, please keep leaves away from poles and mailboxes. Leaves that cannot be safely removed without damaging property or vehicles will not be picked up. 🍁

Thursday, December 7th-
🚚 One truck will be on Oakland, Parkland, Anita, Ranchwood, Westchester, and will continue to move toward Fairview Lanes

The collections will be done on a rotating basis from east to west. We will make numerous passes through the Township so if your leaves are not out, don't worry, we will be back! Collections will continue until leaves are removed from the neighborhoods provided that the weather cooperates.

What an amazing night at the first ever Perkins Township Presents: Winterfest 2023!

This event was a collaboration between Rock & Roll Express Entertainment Company and Perkins Township and we could not be more thrilled with the way it turned out. The weather finally started to cooperate and we had a beautiful evening to welcome Santa, craft vendors, food trucks, live bands, and SO much more!

Please help us empty our tree! This year our goal is to be able to give over 100 seniors from local nursing homes a special holiday season. Pick a card to be matched with a senior and their wish list. Many of the seniors on our tree do not have any active family in their lives, so your act of kindness could mean the world to someone. Please return wrapped gifts to our lobby by December 18th. Thank you in advance!

Hooray! The Perkins Avenue bridge reopened today, and with construction now complete further down Perkins Avenue, drivers — for the first time in months — can traverse the road without detouring elsewhere.

Today is the Perkins Township Police Department annual food drive!

TODAY is the day!

Please join us for our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! This year we will be collecting non-perishable food items at Walmart. All donations will benefit local families in need. Can't make it to Walmart? There will be a donation bin in our lobby from now until Thanksgiving to place your donations in as well.

The Public Works Department has started its annual leaf collection. As a reminder, please keep leaves away from poles and mailboxes. Leaves that cannot be safely removed without damaging property or vehicles will not be picked up. 🍁

Monday, November 20th -
🚚 One truck will be in Atlantic, Shady Ln, Meadows, and possibly Kingsley.
🚚 One truck will be in Columbus Park & Homeville

The collections will be done on a rotating basis from east to west. We will make numerous passes through the Township so if your leaves are not out, don't worry, we will be back! Collections will continue until leaves are removed from the neighborhoods provided that the weather cooperates.

An update on where the truck will be is posted on our page daily.

🍁 Leaves should be placed along the property owner's lot.
❌ Do not put leaves in the street, on the curb, or near gutters to ensure that drainage is not affected. We have seen many leaves in the street and this will cause drainage issues.
🍁 Leaf piles should be free from plant materials, sticks, and debris to prevent damage from the leaf collection truck.
🍁 If leaf piles contain debris, the leaves will not be picked up.
🍁 Please do not place leaves in any bags, including paper bags.
🚘 Please move vehicles parked in front of leaves. If vehicles block the leaves we cannot collect them.
