Over the coming week, we will continue to share helpful tips you can implement into your life to help ease the load of stress related to parenting!
Comment down below which tip from part 1 you are most excited to try ๐

WHY should we address parenting stress?
A study posted in the American Journal of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities found that over time, cross-lagged panel analyses supported a bidirectional relationship between parenting stress and child behavior problems for mothers and fathers.
In other words, we know that parents who have children with more behavioral problems (more difficulties with acting out, attention, rule-following, or anxiety/depression) are generally more stressed but also parents with higher stress predicted children having greater behavioral problems. When we cope and manage our own stress, we are also helping ourselves more effectively respond to our children.

At CAYA care, we provide evidence-based therapies for a range of issues. Although these therapies are not perfect, we believe that clients deserve treatment with evidence behind it.
However, we also tailor treatment to fit the specific situation, needs, and preferences of each client.
We understand that the foundation of any therapy is listening to our clients and working with them to build a strong, trusting relationship. ๐
Have you ever heard of Evidence-based therapy? Do you know what it is? Or maybe you have tried it?
Evidence-based therapy is a therapy that has research studies supporting its efficacy for a specific issue.
In other words, an evidence-based therapy is a therapy that has been shown to work. This does not mean that the therapy works for everyone or for every condition.
What do you think? Would you try it? ๐๐ป๐๐ป
The number of AHA moments weโve had with our patients is truly so remarkable and incredibly rewarding I think for us both in session.
