Happy 4th of July!!! Be Safe!!!!

For many humans, fireworks are a fun and beautiful display. However, many pets find these colorful blasts to be absolutely terrifying, and holidays such as the 4th of July can be very difficult for them to handle 🥺🎆

Here are a few tips and tricks for a pet-safe holiday tomorrow:

🐾 Exercise pets early in the day to get extra wiggles and anxiety out
🐾 Keep pets indoors and away from loud noises
🐾 Play music or TV to distract from outside noises
🐾 Leave pets home while venturing out to loud/crowded places
🐾 Ensure that outdoor areas are securely fenced and supervise pets outdoors to prevent an escape due to being startled by fireworks
🐾 Make sure microchip information is up to date in case an escape occurs
🐾 Be aware that anxiety may last longer than the fireworks display and prepare accordingly
🐾 Ask your veterinarian for additional help
