What are you doing this weekend? • I’m waiting on some silver to resume orders so I think I’ll finally make a split shank ring… 🤔
Celebrating 3 years of smithing with a jewelers tool mug from Metalsmith Society]
I can’t begin to talk about my smithing journey without giving credit to The Metalsmith Society. Their community is what encouraged me to invest in the minimum tools to get started and showed me how many people smith from home studios.
Their whole community is about sharing information and It’s something I live by. If you ever have any questions about tools, tips, ect, please reach out to me.
Huge thank you to Metalsmith Society] and its founder
I’ve had multiple inquiries to remake this ring so it’s now available in size 9 and up.
If you’d like to commission a similar piece, but in a smaller size reach out to me via email [email protected]

I love how silver turns white after a pickle bath. • The pickle is an acidic bath that begins the process of cleaning after soldering. It removes oxidation from the metal being heated.
The bath signifies the half way mark of the jewelry process for me. At this point, I can begin to see what the piece will look like finished and start prepping the piece to be polished.

It’s not perfect, but it is my first faceted gemstone setting!
6mm pink garnet set in a four prong basket setting. Hand-fabricated from sterling silver 925.
This is a practice piece, but there’s more to come 😉
Goodbye 2021 | I learned so much and I can’t wait to continue my education this coming year. Here’s to more silver and more precious stones. Huge thank you to everyone making my year extra special. ✨• See you in 2022!
My favorite part of the holidays is making gifts for the people I love.
Natural black onyx ring on a pre-fabricated signet ring.
Today I’m finishing the last of my holiday orders and I can’t thank you enough for making my second holiday season special. ❤️
I appreciate every order, every message and every share. All these things keeps A Lloyd Jewelry moving forward & it truly touches my heart that I got to make gifts for all your loved ones.
Hope you all have a wonderful holiday! XOXO, A Lloyd
Baby’s first prong setting. • This one came out perfect, but when I tried to recreate it the stone popped into pieces when pushing the prongs down. I didn’t do this once, but twice 🤦🏻♀️
Moral of the story : Check the stones hardness before starting a project… I’m still proud of this setting, but I won’t be using Rainbow Fluorite again.
I was very excited to remake these last week for an old friend. • Classic Hoops No. 1
I’ve been a little MIA, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes.
First off, November marked 2 years of A Lloyd Jewelry. To celebrate, I enrolled into a lost wax class that I’ll be starting in January! I’m super excited to learn new techniques and share it all with you.
Secondly, I’m in the midst of holiday orders and I’m so grateful for everyone that’s supported me by buying, sharing or just reaching out to me. I’m seriously overwhelmed by the amount of support I receive from all of you.
I appreciate it and wouldn’t be doing it without you. XOXO 💋
Feeling really lucky! I got to make our Tri Band Cuff last week and I have our Four Band Cuff on the bench this week!
Swipe to the last slide to see our original display card. Back when I was transitioning from glass panels to silver jewelry.
Here’s some studio appreciation because I truly love this space.
A 2MM cubic zirconia stone set in sterling. This is my second attempt at flush setting, but I hope to make it more of a regular practice this coming year.
Have you ever tried taking photos of jewelry? I never knew how challenging it was before starting and now I have a huge appreciation for product photography. It’s a true art.
It’s the little things that keep me excited. • This week I shipped to three different states and even more exciting I’ve officially shipped to 20 states within the US!
I can’t believe that people I don’t even know in places that I’ve never been, have a piece of jewelry made by me.
Making your jewelry truly brings me so much joy. ❤️
