Juan and Felipa Sariñana, a young couple who immigrated to the United States from Mexico’s state of Durango.
In 1921, the couple would arrive to the city of Santa Ana with their eldest daughter Josefina. Fast forward about 30 years, the small family investment that began in 1939 is seeing its’ fifth and sixth generation. We want to thank the city of Santa Ana for always embracing Sarinanas Tamale Factory. We are honored to be a part of the new mural in the Artesia Pillar neighborhood! This accomplishment gives tribute to the Sarinanas founders, but most importantly to Teresa Nieves and family who have carried this tradition for over 40 years!
