Landslides and slope failures seem to be a common occurrence these days. The recent events of Rancho PV landslides and the Surfside collapse in Florida have raised concerns about the structural stability of existing residential buildings and land. Dr. Khatri, PhD, SE has worked with Association clients for several decades and is a Structural Engineer with experience in all aspects of building design and construction. Dr. Khatri will present recent examples of structural investigations and practical solutions for repair and renovation. Attorney David Wankel will explain the Association’s duties and responsibilities, and Insurance Expert Michael Berg will help figure out how to pay for the mess that landslides and slope failures make.
