The Facebook group Mules of New Mexico does "Leg Up" auctions for mule folk in need of help. This is a donkey & mules portrait I did 8 years ago for Cindy Price who bid in the auction for Briar Phillips, to help out with the medical expenses of a little boy with cancer. Glad to help fund-raise for him. She sent me photos of her animals and now they are ART ! In the years since I've done lots of mule portraits, they express my enthusiasm for the longears.
