We’re equally as shocked learning of Jeff’s death. When I moved to Santa Barbara and had to piecemeal work, I began helping with catering events which turned into a couple + years gig. That was all due to Jeff, who was both so enjoyable to be around and his talent as a chef. We spent hours having industry conversations, and he was one of the few who would talk numbers and specifics and just keep it so real! When Jayson and I didn’t have the money to get a shared kitchen, he let us put his down to get our license and give us a start. I’m so grateful to have known him, and didn’t realize my conversation with him this Summer would be our last. 💔Cheers, Jeff.
