Teens and families with teens- this is for you! We are excited to share a new program being offered this year - Summer Nights at La Cumbre Jr. High School.

Summer Nights is a free program for teens every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday starting this week through the end of July.

Every Sunday through Christmas you’ll find Santa Barbara’s finest artisans offering their original works along Cabrillo Boulevard for everyone on your holiday list. For 56 years, the Santa Barbara Arts and Crafts Show has been a holiday shopping tradition!

Santa Barbara Trapeze Co has been flying high in Plaza Vera Cruz for several months now. They offer both youth and adult camps/lessons in a beautiful downtown setting. Trapeze lessons could be the perfect gift for that hard to shop for person this year.

While most folks may not get too excited about light bulbs, we here at the Carrillo Recreation Center are thrilled for the upgrade to LED Bulbs in the Ballroom and Founders Room. Not only will this save electricity and create less heat, we won’t need to climb a 30 foot tall ladder as often to replace the burnt out bulbs in the chandeliers. These bulbs continue to be dimmable to set the perfect mood for your next event. Stop by and check them out Monday to Friday from 9:00-5:00.

Registrations opens today for Youth Ballet presents The Nutcracker. Classes will be held at the Carrillo Recreation Center every Thursday from 3:30-4:30 starting September 23rd. This program is open to girls and boys ages 3-5 and will be lead by Susan's Ballet.
