Boo at the zoo Santa Barbara! Definitely feels like Halloween is in town! We set up tent and with nightfall all the trick-or-treaters showed up in fantastic costumes.. and marveled at our glow in the dark paintings! Come make art with us, we will teach you tricks: neon paint+ lots of imagination + fun+ black lights!!

A squishmallow paint party for my own daughter turning 16 and her lovely friends!!! Lots of laughs as they chose their squishmallows, sketched it on canvas and painted these adorable stuffies! Colors popping, selfies and conversations made for a perfect celebration!!

Enchanted Forest Art camp, took us to a magic land with toadstools and fairy houses, fairies and gnomes dressed in liberty floral prints, with glittery wings and rainbow puffs of hair, air dry clay frog princes and lots of laughter while students created all week long! Happy art, Happy Kids!! Our last two projects this Spring afterschool K-2 session, rainbow sunsets in the Spring in a faraway land with unicorns and dragons! Birdhouses amidst spring blooms… our end of season art show with our young artists families is a favorite ❤️ heart full! Happy Summer!!!

Needle Felting project: mini spring meadow landscape in embroidery hoops !
After school Spring 2 session, grades 3-8 students have been enjoying learning about needle felting. As in a painting project, we revisited the parts of a landscape and perception of space ,making tiny dot flowers in the background, more detailed flowers in the foreground, creating a composition using beautiful wool colors!
Lots of layers and texture, students loved this project!
