I traveled to Seattle with some of the @thephotogals to photograph the Perseid meteor shower, and @julieboydphoto found us a fantastic spot.
When we arrived before sunset, there were some lovely clouds that disappeared for the sunset but reappeared at night. One of these clouds stood in the same spot, blocking part of the Milky Way, making it difficult for us to take photos, but these clouds made for a lovely timelapse.
This is my first time shooting a timelapse, it's not perfect, but I like it and I hope you do too. I appreciate @juliameganphotography's guidance on my interval settings.
Special thanks to @julieboydphoto for hosting us, I had a great time!

As 2021 comes to an end, I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots I took this year. As for many of you, this year has also been particular, however, I am glad I got to shoot more than in 2020. Some highlights: * I shot the Yosemite Firefalls for the first time β * Was able to go back to Costa Rica to see my family β€οΈ * My photo was chosen as the cover for the Chasing Magic book π * Visited the Tetons for the first time β° * Had many opportunities to shoot with my @bayareaphotogals (@juliameganphotography, @julieboydphoto, @waves.and.wonders and @michellejacquemet)π * Loved meeting other photographers through @magicinthetetons and @norcalwomenphotographers πΈοΏ½ Thanks for being part of this ride! Hoping 2022 is better and full of new photo opportunities π
