Dr. Leilani Gilpin, UCSC assistant professor in computer science and engineering, shares insights on and describes how ChatGPT "hallucinates".

Today we kicked off the NLP Capstone projects! Some of our Capstone Mentors joined today's class to introduce themselves to their project teams. We have an exciting set of projects this year mentored by innovators leading the field of NLP.
