Tickets in hand, we walked through the archway of Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts around 5:30 p.m. The singer wasn’t scheduled to come on until 8 p.m., but the excitement that traveled through every seat of the stadium almost three hours early was palpable. Does a sweaty pit of 15-20 beanie-clad students shoving and stomping on each other sound like a good time? Bars and frats simply too mainstream? Your dreams will come true in the Santa Clara music scene, as demonstrated by students flocking to the third-ever Bandcamp house show. Many went with the intention to mosh–and many only prepared to stand, bobbleheading, at the back of the crowd to enjoy the music while avoiding the anarchy.

It’s not often that student art breaks into the coveted domain of Dowd Hall’s main gallery. But to finish out each academic year, senior studio artists get the opportunity to do just that: exhibit their work in Dowd’s prominent first-floor exhibition room, which is now brimming with new curiosities.

From now until June 16th, 17 talented seniors will feature their art and showcase the culmination of their growth as artists at Santa Clara.
