I like to to talk about implant over dentures and how it works. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages. Also to share a case here.
After placing the implants in the mouth(titanium screws)
There are caps or locators attach to the implant and expose to the gum level. Their job is to connect the implants to the denture by snapping to the denture.
Some advantages: the denture can have horseshoe figure, palate missing. Also, have better retention and less movements.

Some of the disadvantages: it is removable and not fixed to the mouth. Need maintenance.
The Denture made in this case is covered with metal mesh inside and has a better stability and does not fracture easy.
