I started writing blogs on anxiety and depression quite a few years ago. It's a battle I have personally dealt with since childhood. There was a point in my life, around the age of 9 or 10 that I said to my mother, "If i were dead, you guys would be better off". I blamed myself for the ugliness in my home against my parents. After all that's all I ever heard, growing up. "It's all your fault". This doesn't make me 'crazy" or strange or broken. It makes me human. I've learned how to love myself, trust myself and heal through the power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus as my Savior. This may not work for you and that's ok. Take what you can use and leave the rest.

These type of traumas can haunt us for the rest of our lives, if we don't take back the power and control depression and anxiety has robbed us of. We need to get back what we've allowed the enemy to steal from us.
