We take pride in our services and products at OPTX Optometry. We also care deeply about our patients' well-being. That being said, there is a proper procedure in fitting and evaluating contact lenses. Dr. Nersisyan purposely fits patients with specific types of contacts lenses. The patient is given samples and once the prescription is finalized, THAT'S your contact lens prescription and THAT'S the lens you receive when you order from us.

Good deals are great. But please don't "cheap out" when it comes to your eyes. Purchasing lenses from discount places or online is not a good idea. Most of those places are selling you close-to-expired lenses, knock-offs, or different lenses altogether! Swipe over to see the dangers of low dk/t lenses.

Example: Precision 1 daily disposable lenses have an oxygen content level (dk/t) of 100. A higher dk/t level means more oxygen reaches the eye. Let's compare this to an off-brand found at a popular discount eyeglass store. That material, "hioxifilcon A", has a dk/t value of 28!!

You are NOT getting the same product that your doctor prescribed in that case.

Ask us about the various deals available on the brands Dr. Nersisyan fits. Many manufacturers have amazing rebates with annual purchases. Take advantage of these rebates which are only available at private practices.

Don't forget to schedule your eye exam this summer. Call or go to our website to schedule. We do exams and make glasses for all ages. A child's first exam should be between the ages of 3-5 years (if no obvious concerns). We fit custom and disposable contacts as well as Ortho-K. Come check out our optical inventory. We have designer and budget friendly brands. With an optical lab on-site, you won't have to wait long for your new glasses (there are some exceptions). We accept various insurances and care credit.
