It's a good practice to have your transmission fluid and filter replaced before every towing season, and at least at the lighter-duty manufacturer recommendation.

Your serpentine belt is extremely important on your engine, as it can assist in running the water pump, the alternator, and other hydraulic pumps for steering or braking.
