🎉 Today marks a special milestone for Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley! On this day in 1968, we filed our Articles of Incorporation, officially establishing our nonprofit organization with the Secretary of State. 📜✨

This significant moment set the stage for our groundbreaking ceremony later in 1991, which further propelled our mission to empower and support the youth of our community.

Since then, our club membership has grown exponentially, and we now have multiple locations throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. Thanks to your generous support, we've expanded our reach and earned national recognition from Boys & Girls Club of America, ranking us in the Top 10 for Growth!

Your contributions have been instrumental in this achievement. Please continue to support us as we strive to further grow and expand our impact on the youth and community of Santa Clarita. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of our young members. 🙌💙

Join us in celebrating Chya Williams, the incredible Stevenson Ranch School Site Coordinator. Chya’s dynamic leadership and enthusiasm bring energy and joy to our Boys & Girls Club community, making every day brighter for our members. 🙌

Our Keystone members from both James T. Ventress and Thomas E. Dierckman Clubhouse are celebrating their accomplishments at Disneyland 🥳 ! Despite having a school year with many different changes, this amazing group of leaders did not give up!

Throughout the school year they hosted several Parents Night Out, Teen Nights, and Fundraisers 🤩Most importantly, our Keystone Club hosted a Multicultural Fair for their National Keystone Project: Reaching Equity in Our Diversity. This very successful event brought in many different people from our local community, and they had had the opportunity to gather resources, learn about different cultures and were able to connect with our members.

We are so proud of our 23-24 Keystone Club and cannot wait to see what they accomplish this upcoming school year! 🥹🤍

Our James T. Ventress top 6 LIT members attended their Disneyland Field Trip a couple days ago 🥳 These top 6 members had an outstanding performance throughout the school, participated in power hour, completed community service hours throughout the club and ran their own snack shack throughout the school year ✨. We can’t wait to see what this upcoming school year will look like for them 🥳✨

🎉 We are thrilled to announce a monumental moment in our community! On May 9th, we came together to celebrate the renaming of the Sierra Vista Clubhouse to the Thomas E. Dierckman Clubhouse.

For decades, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley has been dedicated to serving the youth of our community, and since 2003, the full service Sierra Vista Clubhouse has been a beacon of hope and growth. The Clubhouse was expanded from a small building to a full service Clubhouse in an innovative partnership with the William S. Hart Union High School District and with the support of the numerous individuals, businesses, foundations, and government officials.

Thomas Dierckman, who has served on our Board of Directors since 1992, has been a driving force behind this initiative. His unwavering dedication and efforts in securing essential funding made this dream a reality.

This renaming honors Thomas's legacy and his lasting impact on our community. As a Boys club alumni from his days growing up in Shelbyville, Indiana Tom knows the difference the Club makes and we couldn't be prouder of him. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special occasion! Thank you to his beautiful wife and family for sharing Tom with us. Together, we continue to inspire and enable all youth to reach their full potential.
