SHOGO! This whole September 1978 “Hot Shots” Skateboard World magazine issue is one of my top 5 favorite skate mag issues of all time! It only had 4 ads (inside & back cover covers) rest is filled with amazing skate photos. Ohhh and no photo credits in any other photos. I’m guessing most of the photos are from and Stan Sharp (RIP).

I'm tripping that I've had this tee for 39 years. This was the contest where I met Scott Clum, Scotty would pick Tom Sims and me at the airport for the U.S Nationals Snowboarding Championships, which would later turn into the U.S. Open.
Alva was the first Skateboarding rock star... His surf skate and go-for-it skating was what it was all about for me back in the day.
