✨The Turn of Lycius✨
The ring has been submitted to for the Battle Of The Rings!!! Wish my luck 🥰

This ring is loosely inspired by the story of Lycius who was once a prince turned white raven by Artimes. He becomes a messenger of Apollo and was tasked to guard Coronis who was pregnant with Apollo's child. In a rage Apollo punishes Lycius and turns him from a white to black by scorching him for failing his duty. From then on ravens have been closely associated with prophecy, foresight and the change of the seasons. In the Americas it is believed that a white raven helped bring the sun, moon and stars to earth, but turned black when it brought fire to humans.

This kinetic ring is a symbol of change and magic and can be manipulated by the wearer. One onside is an opalescent white Raven on a limb with the new growths of spring under a crescent moon. On the other side is a Black Raven on the same limb with colors hinting to the approach of Autumn under a star. The framing of the ring is decorated with a branch scaffolding and gold leaves set with rhodolite garnets, a symbol of the fire within.

Thank you for an amazing first day. I am so honored to have won 3rd place in the jewelry category. I look forward to day two and will definitely try to be back for future Beverly Hills Art Show events.

Fall vibes are heavy in the studio today. Here is a new and unique monarch design I am making for my upcoming Beverly Hills Art Show. I just love the contrasting colors so much. Monarchs hold a special place in my heart as they are vital pollinators, they come to the Monterey Bay area in massive migrations and they are believed to carry the souls of our loved ones to the afterlife.

❤️ I am so lucky to meet such lovely people at these Fine Arts shows. It also brings me joy to see my work in the wild. I often make custom work and there is always a small amount of stress on if the client will love the pieces as much as I hope they will.

❤️The best surprise is when a customer comes to my booth wearing my work and sharing their love and appreciation with me in person. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support. I would not be where I am today without you.

Once Upon a time is a pendant telling an epic tale with a mysterious ending. Does the dragon defeat the knight? Or does the knight defeat the dragon? You decide with this piece as your personal talisman giving you the strength  to take on your own adventure.

This pendant is made from 24k gold, glass enamel, fine silver, sterling silver and a faceted oval sapphire. Hangs from an 18 inch french rope chain.

I love when I see one of my pieces out in the wild. Thank you so much for loving my work and cherishing it. This King of the Dead Pendant was one of my favorites I have ever made and was in honor of my late father. This amazing customer was so over the moon to have it that it made my heart sing.
Made from glass enamel, 25k gold wire, sterling silver and gold keum-boo and a Fire opal.
