Hi I'm Melissa! I've been an esthetician for 16 years. One thing that led me to the skincare field was my own skin issues. Since adolescence I have had acne. I used prescriptions from the dermatologist religiously, tried all the over the counter acne products and even became and esthetician and I still had acne. 

I felt like no one would ever trust me as an esthetician if I couldn't even help my own skin. Luckily I was introduced to two people who made a big impact on my future, Dr. James Fulton and Laura Cooksey. I learned so much about acne from these two people and I am very grateful that they both have shared their knowledge about skincare with the world. For the last 16 years I have been using that knowledge as well as my own experience working on clients with all types of skin to help my clients gain the confidence that comes with having healthy, beautiful skin. 

I am still learning new things all the time. Skincare products and techniques are changing every day and there is never a dull moment in this field. I still get excited when someone comes in with a skin mystery and I love helping them come up with a solution that works their particular skin.

 

Creating my own acne safe skincare line has been the culmination of all these years of experience and knowledge. My hope is that people who may not have the opportunity to come in for a treatment or see an esthetician in person will find my skincare and be helped. I hope that these products will help more people than I could ever reach in my treatment room. I don't want anyone to go through the years of dealing with acne like I did. 💚

We had a great vacation but I'm so happy to be back in Santa Cruz. Traveling with a 2 year old is pretty exhausting.😴 That's right! Marlo turned 2 while we were away. This is a little photoshoot we did to mark the occasion.📸
