We didn’t set out to be a part of any particular scene but I do remember always wanting Kathy to be in a band with me and being excited about the explosion of girls starting bands in the early 90s. The original punk scene had so many amazing women in it and in the mid 80s when I was just starting to really get into it,punk turned into a sweaty sea of Henry Rollins wannabes.This girl Krista auditioning for my sweaty hardcore punk band became the catalyst for making my dream of starting a band with Kathy come true. I left the sweaty HC band to start one with Kathy and Krista. Kathy and I have been band mates off and on for more than 20 years now and whenever we get together and play it’s always fun.
