Feeling very fortunate to be in Austin, TX for the full eclipse today, and that the clouds parted just in time to experience it! 👀🌝🌚🌒🌘
When I came to Austin last week to record a Mother's Day peace anthem for the women of the world with Eric Harrison, Mike Ingber, and incredible musicians from Madam Radar, PAACK and Atlas Maior, I honestly had no idea Austin was in the line of full visibility. Just. Wow.
It feels very auspicious and blessed to be here at this time, especially as an Aries! Aries is the astrological sign of the warrior, ruled by planet Mars -- which exerts powerful influence over many aspects of war and violence. But who says you can't flip the script and become a warrior for Peace, or a warrior of the Light!?
It's all about personal choice and how we choose to live and act, how we show up for others, and even for ourselves.
A fellow artist and I were talking last night about his t-shirt design "Practice the Golden Rule. Don't be an ass!" 😅 Well, it's so true. Small acts of kindness can go a long way. Perhaps we can create a wave of love and kindness in the world to counteract the intensity of hatred and violence that has, unfortunately, become rampant. Let's create a wave of LOVE.
That said, I'm very excited to share this new music with you all! My cover of What the World Needs Now is Love comes out this Friday, April 12!

Please join me in wishing a happy belated birthday to the one and only "leg.end", Tony Franklin The Fretless Monster. His birthday was yesterday, April 2!
Tony has been an inspiration to me since we first met and jammed together at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in 2019. An indomitable bassist who has played with the likes of Jimmy Page and The Firm, Lou Gramm, David Gilmour, Kate Bush, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, and more, Tony is also an incredible music orchestrator and conductor.
We had a wild ride performing the 50th Anniversary of Sgt. Pepper's with Cheap Trick and our band Semolina Pilchards at Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles shortly before the pandemic. It was an epic, once in a lifetime experience I will always cherish.
Thank you, Tony, for your sharing your incredible talent, relentless enthusiasm, positive mindset, and unmatched Golem impersonations. We ❤️ You!
Austin, TX! Check out this new series called 'Under the Rock' where songwriters and bands perform live and share the meaning of the lyrics behind their songs.
I was fortunate to be at the series premiere just two weeks ago during SXSW and hear the West Texas Exiles perform their amazing music and share their stories.
Next up is Pat Byrne on April 4th! I'll be back in Austin at that time recording a new and very meaningful track and am excited to share what's in the works! If you're in town, definitely check this out!

Happy Friday, everyone! Today is my Hebrew birthday and it's a custom to give blessings, so I'd like to offer some blessings to everyone reading this and to the world. 🌍
May there be peace in your heart, your mind, and your home. May you have health, happiness, and strength to face the depths of darkness while keeping faith in the seemingly impossible. May you have hope in the goodness of humanity and be surrounded by those who love you and lift you up. ✨️❤️✨️
May miracles abound in your life and throughout the world, and may we see the healing of deep trauma, the return of the hostages and the eradication of evil on the planet. 🕊
May you find love where you least expect it, and give wholly of yourself in the places where your heart and soul will make a difference in the lives of others. 💎
For those celebrating Purim, may you hold the balance of light and dark, finding a way to pierce the veil -- to experience the unified field of love that is our essence and birthright.
May there be peace in the Holy Land and peace in the world.
עושה שלום במרומיו הוא יעשה שלום עלינו ועל כל ישראל ואל כל העולם ואמרו אמן.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a ballerina. My three year old self used to dance around in a tutu, lol! 💃🏻
I love it when fans reach out and share their creative journeys with me. In this case, music lover and podcaster Dan Clouser asked me if he could interview me for his podcast, Journey of My Mother's Son.
Dan and his wife live in a camper van and travel all over the United States. He's been podcasting since 2020 and this is his latest episode, a conversation we had about the healing power of music. Please have a listen and let me know what you think of our discussion...

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to my APAP - Association of Performing Arts Professionals showcase last weekend at Rockwood Music Hall! Your support means the world to me, especially because this was the first time I've performed these songs live with a full band, and also because it was truly a homecoming to play on the Lower East Side where I lived as a kid.
Big thanks especially to everyone in the band who brought these songs to life, including Mark Visconti on electric guitar, James Quinlan on bass, Kelly Pinheiro on cello, and Dan Barman on drums. Y'all are legends!!

We premiered tracks from my upcoming album, Into the Light, which will be out late Spring, so stay tuned! The album tells my story of healing from severe abuse and domestic violence that I experienced as a child and adolescent, and takes listeners on a healing journey from "trauma to triumph."
The songs are very personal, yet also universal for anyone who has experienced similar challenges and has dedicated their lives to personal healing, growth, and self-awareness.
