QUEEN OF HEARTS IS POSTPONED.

Last week we received questions regarding Queen of Hearts shutting down at Nauti Beaver Hut. These questions arose from another establishment’s Facebook post in a city north of us in which they stated that they were having to shut down their Queen of Hearts due to Galveston County cancelling their event.
Although we had no notice of anything similar happening here, we diligently proceeded to reach out directly to Galveston County Sheriff’s office and consulted legal counsel and were completely reassured there was nothing illegal regarding our Queen of Hearts event as we do not profit from any of the ticket sales.
We proceeded with last week’s drawing.

Yesterday, October 30th, we were served with a cease and desist order signed by the District Attorney of Galveston County to shut down our Queen of Heart’s event IMMEDIATELY.

Obviously caught off guard and left with the game unfinished, we spent yesterday seeking all possible solutions.
After careful thought, we are seeking additional legal counsel to find resolution to this unexpected dillemma.

Our end goal is to find a way to legally finish one last drawing to end Queen of Hearts in a way that is fair to you all, its participants.

Please, give us two weeks.
We truly apologize for this unforeseen situation, and will update future details as we have them.
