A wise broker of record once told me, “Think different, not difficult,” and so I shall, and hope you do too.

The home buying and selling process is going to look and feel different from how it was before. Starting August 17th, the changes from the NAR settlement will officially go into effect.

The short of the long is:

Buyers are now *required* to have a buyer broker agreement signed with their agent *BEFORE* viewing any properties. The agreement defines the terms, duties and services of their working relationship. This is a condition of the NAR settlement and therefore mandatory.

For Sellers, the buyer’s broker fee will no longer be advertised on the MLS. It can, however, be advertised in marketing materials such as emails, social media, phone calls, broker websites, and listing websites.

This is only scratching the surface of the intricate details of the new imposed rules but rest assured that I’ve attended numerous trainings both through COMPASS & C.A.R. and am happy to go into more depth about what to expect, the new forms, and how best to navigate in this new season.

November is National Adoption Month❣️

A deeply and personally unique experience for every adoptee.

I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it was for my biological mom to make this decision, especially with being a mother myself now, but I’d like to think it was all in our divine plan. I love her so much for letting me go. Yes, I humanly still have questions and some mixed emotions, but I can’t imagine a different life even through all the rough patches.
