๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ artist Jane Brucker uses installation and performance to engage the viewer through contemplation, movement, and ritual activity. In large installations and intimate, small-scale sculptures, she touches on the poetry of existence by examining memory, fragility, and death. Combining found objects and heirlooms with other materialsโtextiles, wood, glass, and cast metalsโshe reveals her strong tactile sensibility while simultaneously exploring the visceral and the spiritual.

For Mental Health Awareness month, we're highlighting the organizations who contributed to our Mental Health & Wellness Resource Table inspired by our current exhibition, Terry Chatkupt: A Year. We want to give a huge thank you to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. Along with providing resources and support, they host Out of the Darkness Walks, in cities nationwide. In their Community, Campus and Overnight Walks, those affected by su***de โ and those who support them โ raise awareness and much-needed funds, strongly sending the message that su***de can be prevented, and that no one is alone.
Their Pasadena Out of the Darkness will be close by from us in Central Park on November 2!
Explore all of our Mental Health & Wellness Resources by visiting https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bE5scXSMWAgMN7opujDLE1op3aZcRYnsHHltiQHOUww/edit?usp=sharing.
