1 Month until the 20th annual Business Plan Competition! It’s been almost 20 years of seeing these students present their business plans, show leadership skills, and showcase what they learned about entrepreneurship through participating in Project ECHO. ⚡️⚡️
Project ECHO’s High School Entrepreneurs’ Business Plan Competition simulates the real-world process of entrepreneurs soliciting start-up funds from investors. On competition day, teams present their start-ups to a panel of judges who will collectively evaluate the quality of the written business plans, along with the presentations. Cash start-up funds (that can be applied toward college) are awarded to the top three teams in each competition category.
This competition aims to not only crown the winners but to also help build a generation of successful business and community leaders who are willing to take risks.
It may be too late for students to sign up for the 2024 Business Plan Competition, but there’s still plenty of ways to participate and support our teens. Visit https://www.projectecho.org/support to see how you can get involved and help impact young entrepreneurs. 🚀
It’s never too soon to start a countdown! There’s only 38 days left until Project ECHO’s 20th Annual Business Plan Competition.
On April 21, 2024 teens from around the country will present their business plans that they’ve been working on all semester, but they still have a few weeks to go!
At this point in the program year, students have completed the ideation phase and enthusiastically settled on a business concept they truly believe in.
Teams have been formed, organizational structures established, and students have eagerly embraced leadership roles like CEO and COO.
Now, they’re researching market analysis, learning all they can about competition, and creating effective marketing strategies for their products or services.
It's truly wonderful to observe the development of these innovative ideas as they prepare for the semester-end capstone event!
Join us as a volunteer in supporting teens on their entrepreneurial and leadership journeys. We offer flexible opportunities to accommodate even the busiest schedules. ✨🚀⚡️
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the volunteer form here: https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/MTExODUy
