ContraMestre Corpo Fechado's journey in Capoeira began at the age of 12. After moving to Orange County for university, Corpo Fechado remained dedicated to his training. He co-founded the Capoeira Cultural Club and played a pivotal role in instructing introductory classes.

Corpo Fechado now heads his own school, Capoeira Dance & Fitness Center, with locations in Long Beach and Irvine. He continues to spread the love for Capoeira through performances and projects, building a strong Capoeira community in Long Beach and Orange County.
