Last week, incoming students gathered on campus for our Seawolf Foundations Course! All week long, they learned about what it means to be a Seawolf, how to navigate the transition to high school, and what to expect in the fall at Pacifica.

We can't wait to welcome them back on the first day of school in August!

This past May, our Flying Seawolves Aerial Drone teams traveled to Farmington, Utah to compete in the ADC inaugural West Region Championship Tournament. Their journey was filled with ups and downs, but ultimately resulted in both teams qualifying to compete in the quarterfinals!

Amidst all of the fireworks and hotdogs, we hope you will take time to reflect on our freedoms and honor those who have sacrificed for them. In doing so, we continue to honor the original Seawolves, veterans from the Vietnam War era and our mascot's namesake.

Our 2023/2024 Coach of the Year is Steven Sone! Coach Sone is one of our Boys Varsity Basketball coaches and has been essential in the formation of the team as a unit of skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We are looking forward to next year's season already. Thank you, Coach Sone, for all you do!

They're GRADUATES! Last week we saw them walk across the stage, and in the fall they'll be in TX🤠 Congrats!

This year's Joan Crawford Award for administrative service and leadership goes to our incredible Director of Academic Counseling, Ms. Carly Barforth! Thank you, Carly, for all of the ways you make Pacifica a place where staff and students feel celebrated, seen, and supported.

Leading up to graduation last week, we celebrated seniors at our annual Senior Dinner. Students and parents gathered for a special time as the Class of 2024 to take a moment of reflection and gratitude together.

Our salutatorians, valedictorian, faculty member of the year, and staff member of the year were given unique recognition.

The graduated on Friday and we're still not over it! We have cheered on, prayed for, and walked alongside these students in their high school journey and now it's time to let them go.

Graduation was marked with immense pride, joyful excitement, and optimistic anticipation for what's next. It was a bittersweet farewell to these incredible students who will continue to hold a special place in our Pacifica community.

Happy Summer, Pacifica! We hope you have an adventurous, restful, and meaningful summer. We're already looking forward to being together again in a couple of months-- for now, HAGS☀️🤸‍♂️✈️🏄‍♀️🍦
