This handsome boy deserves and needs a great home as he was bounced from one shelter, to an adopter, only to then be returned to another shelter. The staff at Santa Monica Shelter fell in love with him and reached out to us for help. We took one look at his sweet face and after hearing his story, we knew we had to help and got him out immediately. Buddy is a sweet and loving boy that loves people! He craves and deserves love and affection. Buddy would be best as an only dog. He loves to spoon with you in bed and is an excellent watch dog. Buddy has received the most excellent one on one training. We want this lovable boy to have stability in his life and the forever home he deserves.

Puppies ready for forever homes!
Chi mama Lucy’s three adorable puppies that were born in my home are now almost 12 weeks old. They have not had a single day of distress or lacking in anything and are the happiest, most adorable pups!
We would love two to go together and want homes where owners are not gone all day. We like to place puppies where there is another playful, younger dog. They are super healthy and get their second puppy vaccines on Thursday. We obviously microchip and cover spay/neuter. Application, home-check and two week trial are required.

Lucy was thrown from a car onto a highway with two other dogs - we have all three. It soon became apparent that Lucy was pregnant and the puppies were fully formed. Mama Lucy gave birth to three beautiful pups- two boys and a girl- on November 9th, in the warmth and comfort of our Executive Director's home office. We shudder to think of their first moments in a cruel world, and poor Lucy would not have had resources to care for them properly had we not taken them in. They may not have survived... Mama Lucy and pups are getting the best care and love. We really are overloaded right now- so many desperate rescue situations and we stepped in to saved them. We could use some help getting the word out to get some of our sweet rescue dogs adopted. Some are new, and some have been with us for awhile. We have a new little chihuahua arriving next week from TJ and we truly need some fosters or adopters! Here are just some of our available dogs. Meet Abbi and Gabbi, bonded sisters Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer mixes that were dumped in a park together. We took them in when we learned of their plight. They are sweet and loving, approximately a year old. Abbie weighs 15 pounds and Gabbi is 11 pounds. They are good with other dogs, all people and even fine with cats. Gia was surrendered to us with her puppies when her owner got overwhelmed with dogs due to backyard breeding.

The Cutest Little Chihuahua Ever!
Meet Bugsy, a 5.5lb, male Chihuahua that is about 7.5 years old. Bugsy came to us as an owner surrender who no longer wanted him. He also came to us with a front leg that looked like it had a previous break that was never treated. He walks around and gets along fine, and we have consulted with our vet who does not recommend any surgery on it. Bugsy is a wonderful little dog that needs an adult only home. He would do best with one other sweet/calm dog or he could be your one and only with owners that work from home or are retired. Bugsy is one special dog that deserves the best home out there!

**FOSTER HOME NEEDED**

We are looking for a foster home for our sweet boy, Moxie. He is a 3 yr old, 8 lb Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. Moxie needs an adult only foster home that is non chaotic and will give him the space, time, and love he needs to decompress and acclimate. We are based in Santa Monica, but a foster home in the Greater Los Angeles Area would be fine.

We had an amazing adoption event this weekend! Thank you Gelsons for inviting us and a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to help. We could not have done it without you.
Jazz (black/white) and Jenny (golden) are two of our dogs that were at our adoption event and are looking for their forever home.

These two cuties are a bonded pair (mother/daughter) and need to be adopted together. Jazz is an approx 7 month old, Rat Terrier mix and Jenny is an appox 1.5 yr old, Corgi/Pomeranian mix. These two girls love each other and are so playful and happy!
