The Room in the Corner aims to create a space that embodies the Center’s mission to be connected and to be in community with each other. The name, “The Room in the Corner” is inspired by our physical space which is currently under construction, and we hope will foster community and student empowerment. We invite students to share their stories through a medium of their choice so we can honor self-expression, affirmation, and community.

Have you heard there will be a recall election this September?
This election will run like any statewide election, but your ballot will ask 2 questions that will each be counted separately:
1. Do you want to recall the governor?
2. If so, who do you want to replace him? If more than 50% of California voters vote YES to recall the governor, he will be removed from office and the candidate with the most votes would replace him.
If more than 50% vote NO, then he will remain in office.Visit LAVote.net to learn how you can make your plan to vote 🗳
Missed the deadline to register to vote?
You can still vote for this election!
Any eligible voter who misses the deadline can still vote in-person at any Vote Center in Los Angeles County beginning September 4.
