Good afternoon JLCA family. Yesterday before midnight was the last day to apply to become a board member. I am glad to say we have just a few of you that are genuinely interested in becoming board members. Do expect an email from us soon to schedule a quick interview.

Hey JLCA family! Today and tomorrow past 11:59 PM are the last two days to apply to become a JLCA board member. We look forward to meeting our new board members very soon :)

Now is your chance to become a board member of JLCA! We are looking for three board members: The event Coordinator, PR, and Secretary. Sign up fast, as we have gotten two applications already for PR and Secretary. However, you are still encouraged to apply for whatever position you want. That way we can conduct interviews :)

We have a 2 part event coming up in this October for the spooky celebration of Halloween. One coming up on October 15, which is a bonfire/horror movie trivia night @ dockweiler beach & also going to universal’s Halloween horror nights on the 19th (by purchasing your your own ticket ofc) Sign up’s for the RSVP Form are already here on our bio page so pls check out the link on our bio!🎃 👻

To our faithful and supportive JSA members, you may be wondering why we changed our name for our club. As of this year, we have decided to give our title our away to a different Japanese club here at SMC because we’ve thought it was appropriate for us to change our name to JLCA (Japanese Language & Cultural Appreciation). We apologize if this may confuse everyone although from now on our club and new the JSA will be supporting each other through this new journey. This will be my our first joint event together and also our first event as our new club! If you are interested, this a potluck style event so if you would like to bring something then pls sign up in the link our bio!
