A very special frame for an painting.

fabricated a custom 2” deep cast acrylic circle floater frame. Inset is a second, hand carved frame, gilded with an undulating design, a compliment to the movement and hair of the woman in the painting.

You and I might only see dots painted on a canvas, but for the Aboriginal people of Australia, these dots hold much more significance. This style of artwork represents an aerial view of Aboriginal land, cherished and celebrated with a lively color scheme. As an ode to the vibrance of Aboriginal culture, we framed this painting in a bright yellow Prisma frame. Nothing symbolizes joy better than the color yellow!

There’s something uniquely tranquil about lighting a candle, sitting down with a book, in front of excellent photograph, with a beautiful hand carved mahogany frame.

How groovy is this? This incredible painting entitled "Stelllar Cruiser B***y Mover" by artist, Bill Sienkiewicz, was commissioned to be airbrushed on the side of a decorative van for the Titmouse Headquarters! Our client requested we frame this piece to fit into the style of a 1970s basement. Naturally, we opted for a hand-carved wooden frame reminiscent of the folky 1970s and accented it with a multilayer linen mat in a subdued vintage color-palette to give the artwork that extra bit of dimension. Here we have an African Kasai velvet tapestry made by the Kuba tribe. Hand woven African grass cloth. The rough edges confirm it’s authenticity. Framed in a seamless handmade black finished walnut frame.

There are many different ways to display small objects. They can be framed and hung on the wall or on a shelf or podium like these bent Viking spearheads, exhibited as sculptures, with black powder-coated steel armatures and an ebony walnut base.

Just in time for Halloween! We recently framed this giant bus stop (70” x 48”) sized Nosferatu poster! It is an original print from 1979 and is freshly restored with a proper linen mount. If you have vintage posters that are in need of repair, we can definitely help get them looking as good as possible! A happy and safe Halloween to all!

The framing is quite unique: a bronze hued mirror is cut and polished to function as a matboard. We backed it with a rag mat to make it acid free. The frame is welded bronze.
