Sunday August 18th 2pm, we will be holding a memorial to celebrate the life of a man that touched so many lives. He requested that we have the memorial at O’Brien’s, a place he loved spending time, holding up the north end of the bar! All who knew him are welcome to show up and raise a glass. Bring your best Ted stories. See you all on Sunday!

Ted Morse, had an effect on everyone who met him. Despite being in his nineties, was energetic, sharp-witted, feisty and engaging. He loved to hold court at the end of the bar and hated if I interrupted him mid-story, which I did on a regular basis just to get a reaction. It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that he has passed away peacefully on the couch last week with a cat on his lap! He would have wanted to leave that way, quickly, with his full faculties. I will miss his stories, his financial advice, razor sharp wit, his 1000 word emails, his notes and elaborate food orders written on bar napkins. My condolences to his family and his girlfriend Elizabeth, who took such good care of him at the very end. I will miss you, Ted! P.S. he wanted to have his memorial at O’Brien’s. Time and date to be announced very soon!

As you all know, O’Brien’s I’ll be closed for a private event, meet and greet with Manchester United legends and the FA Cup will be there! This is a closed event sorry for the inconvenience!

O’Brien’s is very proud to host a Manchester United on tour event at the bar this Friday July 26th 8-10pm! It is a closed event with a limited amount of tickets. It is a meet and greet with some former players and the FA Cup will be in the bar!!! Tickets $100 for Red Army members ($125 for non members). includes meal and some drinks. Tickets are s selling fast. Last heard 20 left. The bar I’ll be closed to the public for this event.

If you can do it, set up a home gym. It’s not cheap but it’s priceless in the long term. I bought my functional trainer I’m not doing this for money but it is good quality. I have my tv set up in there, I get to watch all the stuff my kids can’t watch and get a workout done at the same time!
