CARL’s Pet Care Center CARL's Pet Care Center is a classic boarding facility for dogs and cats that has 24 hour on-site care! CARL Pet Care Center funds the C.A.R.L. Canine Adoption Rescue League, a Private Non-Profit No-Kill organization for dogs.

Thank you to Youching Yeh for the monthly donation of 2 large bags of Nutro Beef and Brown Rice dog food for our rescue dogs. Some just prefer this and we very much appreciate the thoughtfulness and donation. Thanks Youching!

This is a gift for our puppy campaign in honor of sweet Gable Sanders, who crossed over the rainbow bridge. Thank you to Gable's family who donated these items.

May is National Pet Month, with May 7-15 specifically as National Pet Week. May 8th is National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day and don't forget, National Dog Mom's Day on May 13th! For whatever pet holiday we celebrate, lets just celebrate the animals that enrich our lives so much. Enjoy your fur babies and thank you for entrusting us with caring for them and getting to know them from time to time!

Last Saturday, April 8th, we had a group of Seabees come out to volunteer (there are a few missing in this picture). They did such great work and we are truly grateful for their hard work and help with moving mounds of gravel to play yards, removing old turf, laying down new turf, as well as some w**ding. So much work done in just 3 hours!

There was a group here in late November as well, and a few of these were here then, so we didn't scare them off. We welcome them back anytime! Thank you Seabees!

Thank you to Lynne Brady for puppy food for our puppy campaign! The puppies eat so much!

Thanks to our wonderful volunteer Chrissy for always taking great pictures of our dogs but for this thoughtful gift for Guero!

April is a special month! CARL's is here for you as your pet's home away from home. As a part of Canine Adoption and Rescue League we want you to know that we love rescue dogs and to hear their stories! We love all pets, which is why we do whet we do! Keep them healthy, walk them and love them!

We are so blessed with donations from kind people. This washer and dryer were donated from Stephanie Lee, but we didn't have a way to get them here. Daniel, shown in the picture brought them over and he and our staff (mostly Kristeen) offloaded them. Thank you for the donation, truly. Thank you Daniel for the transport!

When it rains, we bring some of the pet & plays inside. Here's Sierra giving some love to Gracie Mae (boarder). When Gracie Mae noticed me taking pictures, she struck a pose! She was made for photo shoots!

Another day, another pet & play... from one of our boarders, Cole (left) and our staff member Cheyenne. Our staff members love animals, this picture is just the epitome of that statement. Love from both sides here!
Then there is Ms. Samantha who loves to run and chase tennis balls! We do whatever makes the dogs happy!

Our staff member Susan Bollinger had a fundraiser for Christmas and Valentine's Day. Thank you to Susan who used her own supplies and creativity to make all these lovely ornaments just to make sure our pups have some nice treats! Way to go!

Thank you to Ohana Pet Hospital in Santa Paula for giving us this donation! Certainly if we can't use it, our CARL's Thrift Store and Boutique can still benefit the pups!

Thank you to the following people for the items sent to our puppies in foster care and now adopted: Pam Nothwang, Thank you for not only the puppy X-pen in the previous post but also for the squeaky toys, the teething chew toys (saving foster Alison's house from certain destruction) and for the p*e pads!

We are far too excited to share the wonderful news, and just in time for the cold storm coming in: Renee Will sent us this fabulous, brand new Keurig machine. The old one that we've had for quite a few years died about 2-3 months ago. This will be SO very welcome when the crew comes in at 6 a.m.

Oh happy day! This lovely John Deere ride-on lawnmower was donated and delivered on Monday. This will definitely help with mowing the massive front yard. What a wonderful gift! Thank you to "he who wishes to remain anonymous".
