YWCA Sonoma County was founded in 1976. We provide quality childcare, domestic violence services, and trauma-informed counseling.
Nationally, we're the largest provider of domestic violence services. Locally, we operate the county's only confidential Safe House for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. This program is followed by a 2-year Encore Program that provides continued counseling and support groups, as well as career- and educational counseling. We also operate 7 childcare centers through the county inc
