I have been pushing off writing this post because I knew how emotional I would get writing it…and I’m already crying LOL. 3 years ago I decided I wanted to open my own studio. I was lucky enough to have as a previous boss, forever mentor and friend to talk business with for a couple years prior. I don’t think I would have ever imagined I could have opened my own place with our her knowledge and guidance. I committed to a 3 year lease in this space and although I was terrified I was really excited.

As of 2022, Silk & Sage Studio will be closing. As emotional about it as I am, I could not be more excited for the girls and I to move forward in the next chapters of our lives. Both Kylee and Nicole , are opening their own studios and expanding their business’. I can’t even explain how happy and proud of them I am. If you have ever gotten the chance to work with these amazing humans, you know that they are two of the most hard working, driven, and determined ladies ever. We accomplished so much over the past couple years and they deserve this so much. I could not have done it without them. Please reach out to them for their new address’, pricing, booking info, etc!

As for me, I’m really taking this time to figure out what I want to do with my life, future forward. I will be going back to school, so I am moving my business to Refine Skin & Lash Boutique on Mendocino Ave. Owning a salon is great and rewarding but it is demanding and time consuming. So I’ve decided it’s time to step back and make room for the things in life I want to achieve. There are going to be a lot of changes with my schedule and pricing so please be sure to reach out if you have any questions. I will be giving advance notice to all of my current clientele as these changes won’t be taking place until the new year.

I want to thank all of you that have supported us along this journey. Everyone that, despite COVID, had faith in us to make it through.
